This kit replaces all the 3mm hardware with high quality stainless steel. Aluminum and Titanium are lighter, but can have durability issues. We feel that stainless offers the best blend of appearance and durability for an affordable price.

Hardware upgrade

The FGX isn't known as a lightweight, but the stock hardware isn't up to the task of hard impact into immovable objects. If you have to disassemble parts of your car frequently, the hex heads can wear out on the aluminum. These are a fine upgrade I would recommend to the basher and racer alike.
